They were encouraged to join this event by Adam Sebestyen, Regional Innovation Scheme Operations Manager at EIT Manufacturing, and mentor at EIT Jumpstarter. “This victory means that ArcLub One is on the best trajectory to be one of the leading group of innovators in the region and Europe – in our industry. They learnt a lot during EIT Jumpstarter and were able to capitalize on that. They are constantly growing, and the EIT communities and programmes are here to help them on their journey” – Adam said.

Damir Grguras, co-founder of ArcLub One shared with us the keys to their success. He said that they are using the knowledge and skills they developed during EIT Jumpstarter: “we learnt how to equally divide the work between the team members, discuss the possible future ideas for improving the basic idea and find strengths for each team member, as everyone is the best at some specific area. For fundraising, it is important to recognize the key points of your basic idea, look at the customer’s point of view and learn the strong and weak areas of your idea. And of course, if you want to build a product from your idea, start with demand from the market. Is there demand and how big it is? Do you have to fit within a certain price range? Also, if your product is new, try to get it out as soon as possible (of course without compromising your quality) as the timing is everything!“
