RumiTech, a pioneering start-up specialising in sustainable energy solutions, focuses on transforming conventional infrastructure into self-sufficient, smart energy and communication hubs.
By leveraging solar and wind energy, the company offers off-grid sustainable energy solutions that significantly reduce carbon emissions and infrastructure costs.
CEO Enes Aladaş highlighted the company’s commitment to the “5Ds of Sustainability” — Decarbonisation, Decentralisation, Democratisation, Deregulation, and Digitalisation.
He emphasised the efficiency and impact of RumiTech’s innovation, stating:
“With the solution we developed, we transform a standard pole into a smart energy and communication infrastructure that produces its own energy from the sun and wind in just two hours. This approach minimises carbon emissions and initial excavation and cabling costs while ensuring energy is used efficiently and managed remotely.”
With the latest investment, RumiTech is on the verge of commercialising its groundbreaking solution. The company is actively expanding its network of partners and finalising the installation of its production facility in Kocaeli, Türkiye.
Once operational, the facility will enable mass production, allowing RumiTech to shift its focus to sales and business development. Plans are also in motion to enter the European market.
Founded in 2023 by Enes Aladaş and Emre Aladaş, RumiTech has already achieved significant milestones in its short journey.
The start-up secured second place in the European Union’s acceleration programme, EIT Jumpstarter – InnoEnergy Stage, and emerged as the most awarded start-up at ITU Big Bang 2023. These accomplishments paved the way for its pre-seed investment from the SabancıARF Programme.
As RumiTech advances towards commercialisation, its commitment to sustainable and innovative energy solutions continues to strengthen.
