Winners don’t take all: success story of a Jumpstarter finalist

Unmanned Systems, finalist of EIT Jumpstarter 2020 showcases the excellent opportunities EIT Jumpstarter provides you with – even if you do not finish on the podium. Spoiler alert: NASA is involved too.

Eitjumpstarter.eu reached out to the finalist of last year’s edition. After making the final six in the Urban Mobility category, Unmanned Systems set a course for a prosperous future. Stefan Hristozov, a member of the team told us that they used the prize money to become members of UAV Dach and UVS International, two unions for unmanned aviation. „This gives us the ability to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders and partners. Being the first Bulgarian company makes us intriguing to partners willing to probe the market here”

But the better-known organization they joined is NASA’s Advanced Air Mobility Working group. „COVID and the travel ban [shifted everything] to virtual so we signed up. How cool is that?” It is cool, indeed.

They have also contacted several entities in their native Bulgaria „for Series A funding. Fingers crossed.”

You can be the next team partnering up with NASA. Apply to EIT Jumpstarter now!
