When the team behind Yapar3D looked at the world of industrial manufacturing, they saw a bottleneck: plastic prototyping was still expensive, slow, and centralised. That didn’t work for start-ups, product designers, or educators who needed fast, flexible solutions. So, they built one.
Founded in Türkiye, Yapar3D is transforming how ideas become physical products. Their mission?
Make plastic prototyping accessible, right from your desk. No long waits, no expensive factory equipment, just a smart desktop machine anyone can use.
In 2024, Yapar3D entered the EIT Jumpstarter programme in the Manufacturing category. That was a turning point.
From refining their business model to validating their go-to-market strategy, Jumpstarter helped Yapar3D transform from a promising idea to a market-ready product.
The team won first prize in their category and secured €10,000 in funding. More importantly, they earned recognition as a standout innovator in European manufacturing.
At the heart of the start-up is a compact, smart plastic injection machine.
With great savings of energy, CO2 emissions and material consumption, this desktop-size system allows end-user pieces or prototypes wherever you need.
Thanks to its integrated software system, the machine automates and simplifies the plastic production process and enables users from design to finished pieces in a very fast way. It’s user-friendly and affordable for both early-stage product development and low volume production.
Yapar3D’s time in the EIT Jumpstarter ecosystem opened new doors. With the help of mentors and field experts, they:
Their technology is now ready to be used in pilot programmes, including educational institutions and design labs.
Beyond hardware, Yapar3D is creating a growing database of materials and plans to offer more customisation options. This positions them not just as a hardware start-up, but also a scalable platform.
The roadmap ahead is ambitious. Yapar3D is preparing for a full commercial launch across Türkiye and Europe. They’re also building partnerships to expand into design agencies, technical universities, and small-scale manufacturers.
Their long-term vision? Democratise small-scale manufacturing.
They believe prototyping shouldn’t be limited by geography, budget, or access to big factories.
By keeping their product energy-efficient, safe, and easy to use, they’re ready to bring industrial capabilities to every workspace.
Yapar3D is proving that innovation doesn’t always come from giant factories. Sometimes, it fits right on your desk.
